  1.                                 Brain Tumors
  2. SYMPTOMS. Due to the many types of tumors that may occur in the various
  3. areas of the brain, the symptoms are highly variable. There may be weakness
  4. in the arm or leg muscles,slow, progrssive disturbances in sight, convulsive
  5. seizures, headache, drowsiness, personality changes, mental impairment,
  6. vomiting, lethargy and disordered conduct.
  7. CAUSES. The causes are not known at this time. They are most common in the
  8. early adult or middle aged but they may occur at any age.
  9. TREATMENT. Consult your doctor immediately at the slightest hint of a tumor.
  10. .Brain tumors are not always hopeless. More than a third are not cancerous.
  11. .Many malignant tumors are successfully treated.
  12. .Due to advances in surgical techniques, removal is increasingly possible.
